Each Franz Werner Professional is carved and meticulously crafted by an individual maker to produce a stunningly attractive instrument of superior performance. Beautifully figured tone woods, enhanced with a rich handsome finish, are complemented with a balanced resonant tone and exceptional playability. Projection is superb.

Hand-carved from well-aged tone-woods that are hand selected by the maker. Spruce top of fine, close grain. Two piece back of well defined, narrow to medium flame. Ribs and scroll similar. Finished in a warm reddish brown on a golden ground.  Each violin is shop adjusted by our experienced, in-house (Tucson, AZ) luthiers, to assure excellent playability. Made in Germany.
